Future Contracts: Future agreements or future contracts (Futures) are legal agreements, have definite limits to buy or sell a commodity or financial instrument, for a time in the future at a price agreed when signing the contract. The quality and quantity of goods to be delivered according to the futures contract should be standardized and the delivery time and place of delivery should also be specified. The only variable in the futures transactions is the price of the commodity that will be discovered during the transaction process.

Energy stock exchange company (LLP) was established in accordance with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Securities Market Act adopted by the Parliament in December 2005 and was registered by the Registration Office for firms and non-commercial organizations on 17 July 2012 under number 428,002 and national ID 10,320,798,438 and launched its operational activities in the fields of cash transactions, future contracts, and in order to remove needs such as buying and selling energy resources for distributors and consumers started activity late in May the same year.

Instant Transactions

Instant Transactions refer to activities in which investors place directly transactional securities orders through electronic communication channels, including the Internet. This process is fully automated and after carrying out the necessary controls in an automated trading system brokerage, orders will be transferred to Tehran Stock Exchange or Iran’s Over-The-Counter (OTC) market transactions.

In Instant Transactions, all operations that were carried out by human intervention are fully automated and secure while everything is done by using safe telecommunications infrastructure in a fraction of a second. Using this technology, the investor can swiftly buy and sell securities without recourse to brokers or banks. Instant Transaction systems make it possible for capital market to provide investors to send their buying and selling share orders at high speed to stock trading system.

Processing speed at such transactions is so high as if the client is present at the trading system room and enters orders directly to the system. But behind the scenes, as soon as an order is placed, the client’ identity, their account balance at the brokerage as well as in the bank, and also the remaining shares are immediately verified.
